BOC: The reunion

The COVID- 19 pandemic forced us to change our lives and our habits in many ways. We had to adapt to the new circumstances and situations which left their mark on our daily lives.

In the upcoming event, we wanted that the image of Barcelona Oculoplastics (BOC) is a call to hope and optimism, after 2 years of the pandemic.

We had no choice but to postpone BOC 2021 due to circumstances out of our control. Now we are coming back with a lot of renewed strength, excitement and energy and for us your presence and participation is of the outmost importance.

We accept the challenge to offer you the 5th edition of Barcelona Oculoplastics with the quality that we are known for and new innovative formats: with streaming sessions and counting on, like always, on prestigious, international speakers, as well as on new content that we will be informing you about in the event´s program.

As always, we are looking forward to welcoming you in IMO GrupoMiranza´s flagship center in Barcelona.

Save the date: 22nd and 23rd of April, 2022.

See you soon!

Dr. Ramón Medel

Director Barcelona Oculoplastics (BOC)

COVID-19 security measures

Due to the exceptional situation brought by the COVID- 19 pandemic, places are limited and registrations for the event will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Furthermore, all the security and hygiene measured will be adopted, as dictated by the local Catalan authorities and the Spanish government.

For this reason, amongst other measures:

  • COVID Digital Certificate should be presented.
  • It will be obligatory to use an FFP2 type of face mask or a surgical one, in all conference spaces.
  • It will be necessary to apply a very good hand hygiene in all access points to the auditorium where the event will take place, as well as in any other place where congress activities will be conducted.
  • The organising committee reserves the right to ask for COVID- 19 tests closer to the event date. If this is the case, all registered participants will be contacted and informed on time.

What the eye does not see

Behind the scenes and beyond official photos, the 5th edition of Barcelona Oculoplastics afforded some highlights we share with you:
